This year's event will feature some innovative events as well as the more traditional mixture of oral and poster presentations.  In addition, and to mark the DMDG’s 40th anniversary, the DMDG debate will be making a return with the following question being posed:  “Which Was The Golden Decade Of The DMDG?” As you’d expect, the debate will involve a number of “celebrity” debaters drawn from different periods in the DMDG history.

Major sessions this year include:

• DMPK on a budget – a look at how drug discovery / development package design varies between companies
• Application of transgenic systems in drug development
• DMDG problem solving clinic – bring your problem and hear how others would have approached it
• “Spontaneous” break out sessions – small round table discussions on topics of greatest interest to you
• DMDG in the next decade – hot stuff or hot air? – a thought provoking look at how the DMDG may be challenged going forward

Parallel sessions:

• Reactive metabolites
• Regulatory strategies
• Distribution imaging of biologics

There will also be:

• Free communications
• Poster session

The conference dinner will also include “entertainment”!
